Recovery Works Better When We Walk Together

Recovery feels different when someone who has walked the same road shows you where the ground is solid. In an earlier episode Chantal Bellingham talked about being born addicted to methodone and her struggle with opioids while studying to be a social worker.

She is now peer support worker and uses her experience to help people cut through shame in early recovery when the question isn’t “why can’t you stop?” but “what do you need today to be safer and stronger?”
